WREF 2012 Draws Speakers
from Around the World
Attendees of the World Renewable Energy Forum (WREF 2012), taking place in Denver, May 13–17, will choose from more than 900 presentations, including nearly 300 forums, panel discussions
and technical sessions.
Speakers include Dr. Farooq Abdullah, union cabinet
minister for New and Renewable Energy in the Government
of India; Dan Arvizu, Ph.D., director and chief executive of
the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy
Laboratory; Dennis Dimick, executive editor for the environment at National Geographic magazine; Santiago Seage, CEO
of Abengoa Solar; and U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.),
chief deputy whip. Former Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter (current
director of the Center for the New Energy Economy at Colorado State University) will speak at the Colorado Renewable
Energy Society’s banquet, hosted at WREF 2012.
