kyocera announces solar modules for toyota Boats
kyocera Solar of Scottsdale, Ariz., is now supplying solar modules to be installed in toyota recreational boats. Buyers of boats made by toyota and select other manufacturers will have the option
of supplementing their battery power with kyocera’s 60-watt, 17. 5 percent efficient, photovoltaic
(Pv) module. Because a mobile solar array endures significantly greater shock, vibration and wind
than a stationary array, kyocera says it has vigorously tested the new product to ensure its reliability. this is kyocera’s second collaboration with toyota — in may 2009, they began supplying the
optional solar modules now available in the toyota Prius. kyocerasolar.com
