Solar World Launches Digital System
Solar World of Hillsboro, Ore., has launched the Suntrol digital system, the
latest in its line of digital control systems. The Suntrol collects, logs and
displays power-generation statistics, including total electricity yields and
displaced carbon dioxide. All data amassed is tied into both an electronic
home monitor and an internet portal — allowing users to track their PV array
production from their computers,
smart phones and even iPods. The
Suntrol digital system offers two
display options: a 31-inch (800-mm)
by 24-inch (600-mm) LED monitor
and a 20-inch (500-mm) by 16-inch
(400-mm) size. An outdoor model is
also available in either size with an
LCD display.
