CLARA CHANGXIN FANG accepted the
John and Barbara Yellott Award, which
is given to a graduate student concentrating on solar energy in a recognized institution of higher learning. Fang is working
on a master’s degree in environmental
management at Yale. Her concentration
is urban ecology and environmental
design, which includes courses in renewable energy, urban planning and architecture. In addition to her academic program,
Fang has managed a number of marketing
and conference outreach projects for the
North American Board of Certified Energy
Practitioners (NABCEP). Her work has
resulted in increased awareness of the mission of NABCEP’s renewable energy certification organization. ST
