The largest grassroots solar energy event in
America, the National Solar Tour, will celebrate
its 14th anniversary on Oct. 3. In 2008, more than
140,000 people nationwide saw firsthand how their
neighbors are using solar energy, energy efficiency
and other sustainable technologies to reduce their
monthly utility bills and help tackle climate change.
Join the renewable energy revolution by participating, either as an attendee or by putting your home
or building on the tour. For complete information,
please go to nationalsolartour.org or contact Tour
Manager Richard Burns at rburns@ases.org. The
tour is a terrific opportunity to educate yourself and
inspire others!
