Lennox Home Heating/Cooling
System Uses Solar-Powered Fan
Lennox Industries has introduced the Sun-
Source home heating and cooling system,
using an integrated 190-watt solar panel
driving a fan to circulate air across the outside
condenser coils. The concept reduces total
current draw during peak load hours for air-conditioning systems. The company hopes to
incorporate photovoltaic power sources into
more home comfort components, including
indoor motors, compressors, air-quality products
and thermostats. lennox.com
JobClock Automates
Payroll Tasks
Exaktime reports that its JobClock

and out of the work site with a pass of
a “keytab.” The superviser downloads
data to a PDA device for transport to
the office, where it can be printed out
or exported to a bookkeeping system.
Real-time, detailed cost-code tracking
produces fast, easy payroll processing.
