ASES, Environmentalists Honored
ASES in November was among more than 30 environmental groups inducted into the Environmental
Hall of Fame. The award recognizes corporations,
companies, individuals and organizations that are committed to taking a stand for a sustainable planet. At right, ASES
Executive Director Brad Collins joins honoree Mark Burger,
president of the Illinois Solar Energy Association, an ASES
chapter. Also honored were longtime ASES member Mike
Nicklas of Innovative Design, plus the American Wind Energy Association, Geothermal Energy Association, Sierra Club
and Whole Foods Market.
