Fronius Launches Improved IG Plus Inverter
The new Fronius IG Plus inverter includes a built-in six-string circuit
combiner, and is compatible with all module configurations. The series
includes devices to cover the power class range from 3 to 12 kilowatts.
An automatic transformer switching function enables three efficiency
peaks to provide consistently high efficiency over a wide input voltage
range. A combination of multiple power stages in the two and three
power stage inverters allows maximum power harvest on cloudy
days. Module-Manager software enables more efficient MPP tracking,
especially important with thin-film modules. IG Plus inverters include a
built-in, lockable and load-breakable DC disconnect. Grounding selectable on-site, and field programmability of the AC output voltage are
