Outback Launches FLEXware Combiner
The new FLEXware advanced photovoltaic combiner box
was designed to make wiring easier and faster. An angled negative terminal bus bar minimizes right angle bends of heavy
gauge wire, and a larger number of knockout locations provides easier access to wiring terminals. It’s available in two sizes
to hold eight or 12 150 VDC breakers; either one will also take
600 VDC fuse holders. The box handles dual 2/0 AWG output
wiring, and includes a removable, tinted flame retardant polycarbonate dead front panel to meet NEC 2008 code compliance for installation, preventing accidental contact with live
terminals and components. The rainproof, UL 3R, powder
coated aluminum enclosure can mount on a wall, pole or
directly on a sloped roof. outbackpower.com
